Chris Freville has been a member of the Solihull Speakers
Club since 2004, including a stint as president of the Solihull club in 2007.
Being a member of the Speakers Club has been a rewarding experience for Chris
Freville and has also had a positive impact on his professional life. Chris
Freville thinks that everyone could benefit from gaining some public speaking
experience.
Joining the Solihull Speakers Club has exponentially
increased Chris Freville’s confidence in his public speaking skills. Public
speaking is absolutely one of those skills that only improves with practice. As
an entrepreneur, Chris Freville finds that being a good public speaker helps
people to trust him and have faith in his products and services. In fact, Chris
Freville films short videos to advertise his products, something he would never
feel comfortable doing if he wasn’t a practiced public speaker.
Being a member of a Speakers Club is a good way to learn new
things when you are no longer in school. Chris Freville finds that when it is
his turn to prepare a speech, it can be a great idea to choose something he
doesn’t know much about. Then in the process of researching the speech, Chris
Freville has the opportunity to learn something new. He has given speeches
about diverse topics, ranging from interesting historical events, to scientific
discoveries.
