Being a member of a Speakers Club is a good way to learn new things when you are no longer in school. Chris Freville finds that when it is his turn to prepare a speech, it can be a great idea to choose something he doesn’t know much about. Then in the process of researching the speech, Chris Freville has the opportunity to learn something new. He has given speeches about diverse topics, ranging from interesting historical events, to scientific discoveries.

Chris Freville has also found that joining the local Speakers Club has been a great way to make connections within his community and to network professionally. Speakers Clubs are often populated by high-powered people who are working to hone their speaking and leadership skills. Good public speakers are often the best leaders because they are active listeners and are able to command attention while speaking. Chris Freville has been working with his community Speakers Club for nearly a decade now and his speaking skills keep getting better and better.
